Network Administrator, Azure & VMware for Hybrid Cloud
Overview
Own the reliability, security, and performance of critical systems in a hybrid on‑prem and Azure cloud environment. You will support and evolve our hybrid infrastructure across on‑prem data centers and Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalable cloud adoption. You will collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to maintain availability and optimize performance.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain Azure and VMware based infrastructure to support hybrid workloads
- 2Design and implement high‑availability and disaster recovery for cloud and on‑prem services
- 3Monitor system health and security, responding to incidents to minimize downtime
- 4Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce policies, backups, and compliance
- 5Lead efforts to optimize performance and cost for cloud resources and on‑prem systems
- 6Automate repetitive tasks with scripts and tools to reduce manual toil
- 7Document architecture, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
- 8Participate in on‑call rotation to support critical systems as needed
- 9Drive continuous improvement for reliability, security, and scalability
Requirements5
- 15+ years building and administering Windows and Linux systems
- 2Hands‑on experience with Azure and VMware in hybrid environments
- 3Strong knowledge of networking, security controls, and identity management
- 4Experience with monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis
- 5Proven ability to work onsite in Concord, CA and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
