Overview
You will own the design, implementation, and governance of large-scale Azure infrastructure solutions, spanning networking, compute, storage, and security. You will join a team of cloud engineers and work directly with stakeholders to shape hybrid cloud and disaster recovery strategies. This role stands out by combining hands-on architecture with automation and cost optimization across a complex enterprise environment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design Azure infrastructure architecture for high availability, security, and resilience, covering Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, and Azure Load Balancer.
- 2Implement hybrid cloud connectivity with Azure ExpressRoute and VPN Gateway, ensuring optimal routing and latency.
- 3Drive identity and access management using Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management.
- 4Automate infrastructure deployment with Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to enable repeatable environments.
- 5Optimize compute, storage, and networking costs by right-sizing resources and leveraging reserved instances and spot instances.
- 6Design disaster recovery and backup solutions using Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, and geo-redundant storage.
- 7Establish governance and compliance with Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Management Groups to enforce security controls.
- 8Influence containerization and microservices strategies using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Instances.
- 9Guide continuous improvement of monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
Requirements8
- 15+ years architecting enterprise-scale Azure solutions with Azure Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and Compute.
- 23+ years hands-on with infrastructure as code using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
- 3Expert-level knowledge of Azure Active Directory, IAM, and security best practices.
- 4Experience with ExpressRoute and VPN Gateway in hybrid cloud designs.
- 5Proven track record designing disaster recovery with Azure Site Recovery and Backup.
- 6Familiarity with AKS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- 7Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash for automation.
- 8Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert are preferred.
