Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Overview
You will own the Azure cloud infrastructure platform for a global IT services firm, serving enterprise clients across multiple industries. You will design, implement, and scale IaaS and PaaS solutions that support mission-critical workloads. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role demands deep Azure expertise and a track record of delivering resilient cloud environments.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources.
- 2Migrate on-premises workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate and other tools.
- 3Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and ARM templates.
- 4Monitor and optimize cloud costs, performance, and security using Azure Monitor and Azure Security Center.
- 5Implement Azure governance policies, role-based access control, and identity management with Azure AD.
- 6Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents, ensuring minimal downtime. Lead incident response for cloud-related outages.
- 7Collaborate with development teams to integrate Azure services like AKS, Azure Functions, and App Services.
- 8Document architecture, runbooks, and best practices for cloud operations.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience with Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, and compute.
- 23+ years of experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.
- 3Proficiency in Terraform and ARM templates for infrastructure as code.
- 4Strong experience with Azure Active Directory, Azure Policy, and Azure Security Center.
- 5Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- 6Knowledge of networking concepts: DNS, VPN, ExpressRoute, and Azure Load Balancer.
- 7Experience with migration tools such as Azure Site Recovery and Azure Database Migration Service.
- 8Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification preferred.
