What You'll Do4
- 1Compare AI-generated music samples side by side and rate them on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production or mix quality.
- 2Annotate each track using a structured taxonomy—classifying genre and sub-genre, mapping song structure, and identifying vocal and instrumental characteristics.
- 3Evaluate generated lyrics and vocal performances against reference material to determine how well they stack up.
- 4Score the overall quality of the musical training data used by the AI models and provide feedback on its strengths and weaknesses.
Requirements4
- 1Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English.
- 2Professional or semi-professional experience in music on either track: the production track (3+ years as a producer, audio engineer, or mixer, comfortable describing a mix by ear) or the music and language track (deep knowledge of the Mandarin Chinese music scene as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or journalist).
- 3Access to headphones or studio monitors that allow careful, detailed listening.
- 4Nice to have: formal training in music performance, theory, or composition; experience creating or performing released music in Mandarin Chinese; and broad familiarity with contemporary Chinese genres, sub-genres, and artists.
