Multi-Unit General Manager, Subway Restaurants
Overview
You own full operational and financial results for two Subway locations in Arvada and Youngfield. Manage a team of Sandwich Artists and shift leaders, drive sales growth, control labor and food costs, and uphold brand standards. You report directly to the owner and operate with autonomy. This role stands out with a transparent monthly bonus of up to $400 tied to performance targets you control.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own P&L for both stores: track sales, labor, and food costs; adjust schedules and purchasing to hit targets.
- 2Build your management team: recruit, hire, train, and promote Assistant Managers and shift leads.
- 3Coach and mentor staff daily during peak hours to enforce Subway standards and reduce turnover.
- 4Conduct weekly audits at each location, checking food safety, cleanliness, and branding compliance.
- 5Manage inventory transfers between stores and handle bank deposits with reliable transportation.
- 6Lead by example: work the line during rushes, taking orders and assembling sandwiches to model speed and accuracy.
- 7Drive local marketing and sales growth by engaging with the community and promoting Subway loyalty programs.
- 8Resolve customer issues immediately, ensuring a positive guest experience that builds repeat business.
Requirements6
- 15-7+ years in restaurant management, with multi-unit P&L responsibility and proven control of labor and food costs.
- 2Experience developing staff: track record of coaching Assistant Managers and reducing turnover.
- 3Flexible schedule: available evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
- 4Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel between Arvada and Youngfield stores.
- 5ServSafe or Food Safety certification preferred but not required.
- 6Strong communication skills: lead morning briefings and shift handoffs clearly.
