What You'll Do9
- 1Perform all MRI exams following standardized protocols under preceptor supervision
- 2Administer contrast agents according to departmental guidelines
- 3Manage patient safety and magnet status protocols
- 4Document comprehensive patient information and complete required forms
- 5Maintain MRI equipment and coordinate patient flow across multiple locations
- 6Provide exceptional patient care through effective communication
- 7Develop expertise in specific imaging modalities such as cardiac MRI and brain perfusion
- 8Ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control policies
- 9Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal diagnostic services
Requirements10
- 1High School/GED or ARRT MR certification
- 2Two years' MRI technologist experience post-certification
- 3Associate degree in MRI or allied health preferred
- 4BLS certification required
- 5Three years of hospital-based MRI experience preferred
- 6Proficiency in cross-sectional imaging techniques
- 7Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and critical thinking
- 8Ability to rotate between multiple clinical locations
- 9Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
- 10Experience with MRI safety policies and magnet management systems
