What You'll Do9
- 1Supervise daily MRI department operations ensuring efficient scheduling and workflow management
- 2Lead and mentor radiologic technologists providing training on MRI protocols equipment operation and safety
- 3Oversee proper use and maintenance of MRI scanners adhering strictly to equipment safety procedures
- 4Coordinate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate image acquisition
- 5Ensure compliance with patient safety regulations aseptic techniques and medical terminology standards
- 6Manage inventory of medical supplies including contrast agents used in MRI scans
- 7Maintain detailed documentation within Picture Archiving and Communication Systems including patient records incident reports and quality assurance logs
- 8Conduct routine quality checks on MRI equipment to guarantee optimal performance and safety
- 9Promote continuous improvement by analyzing departmental performance metrics and implementing best practices in diagnostic radiology
Requirements7
- 1Strong background in radiology or diagnostic evaluation
- 2Knowledge of medical terminology anatomy principles of diagnostic radiology
- 3Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care
- 4Proficiency in using PACS systems for image storage and retrieval
- 5Experience with medical equipment operation required
- 6Basic life support certification along with skills in IV insertion and patient safety protocols
- 7Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients about procedures
