What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement imaging protocols using PACS and DICOM standards
- 2Supervise techs during complex scans and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- 3Optimize scan times while maintaining diagnostic accuracy
- 4Manage inventory of contrast agents and equipment maintenance schedules
- 5Collaborate with referring physicians to improve referral accuracy
- 6Analyze imaging data trends to identify operational bottlenecks
- 7Implement new technologies like AI-assisted imaging solutions
- 8Train new hires on Radiology best practices
- 9Maintain HIPAA compliance across all digital workflows
- 10Develop performance metrics for departmental efficiency
- 11Coordinate with billing for accurate CPT code assignments
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience as an MRI technologist
- 2Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic technology
- 3Valid New York State license
- 4ARRT certification preferred
- 5Familiarity with PACS systems
- 6Knowledge of DICOM standards
- 7Previous exposure to CT and X-ray modalities
- 8Ability to obtain credentialing documentation quickly
- 9Strong communication skills for patient interactions
- 10Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- 11Experience with per diem scheduling systems
