Overview

Own the end-to-end mortgage loan processing and closing for residential loans at scale within a team driven environment. Work with Mortgage Loan Consultants, investors, title companies, and attorneys to ensure accuracy and compliance with RESPA, Regulation Z, and CFPB guidelines. Leverage Encompass and LaserPro to support processing and closing activities. This role stands out through close collaboration with lenders and a focus on quality assurance and timely closings.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build accurate loan packages by reviewing applications and reconciling data fields to ensure completeness
  • 2Review appraisals, credit reports, title, and disclosures for accuracy and consistency using Encompass and LP
  • 3Coordinate with Mortgage Loan Consultants and correspondent lenders to obtain underwriting conditions and finalize files
  • 4Submit credit packages to underwriters and address conditions in a timely manner using DU/LP
  • 5Prepare closing documents and verify closing fees and conditions for salability using LaserPro and IDS
  • 6Manage wire activity and funding processes ensuring accurate transmission to title companies and investors using IDS
  • 7Deliver loans for sale to correspondent lenders and complete final documentation including MERS transfer
  • 8Perform post-closing review and resolve deficiencies in line with investor requirements
  • 9Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain efficient operations and respond to questions
  • 10Advocate for quality and compliance in every file through meticulous attention to detail and deadlines

Requirements10

  • 1Five years of mortgage lending experience preferred
  • 2Strong knowledge of TRID and Closing Disclosure requirements
  • 3Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Encompass
  • 4Experience with LaserPro and IDS
  • 5Working knowledge of RESPA, Regulation Z, and CFPB guidelines
  • 6Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • 7Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external contacts
  • 8Ability to use a 10-key calculator and a web-based document preparation system IDS
  • 9High school diploma or GED required
  • 10Experience with FiServ DNA is helpful
