Module Equipment Technician, Thin Films Metrology at Intel
Overview
Own inline metrology and defect reduction in a high-tech semiconductor fab at scale. You will work on wafer production, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve manufacturing data and processes. This role is onsite in Phoenix, with multiple shifts across Fab52/42/32/12. You will join a collaborative environment focused on building advanced computing technologies.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and maintain wafer production equipment to reduce defects and support Fab objectives
- 2Troubleshoot equipment issues using manuals, schematics, and test equipment to minimize downtime
- 3Operate and train others in process and equipment procedures in the Thin Films department
- 4Support inline metrology initiatives by integrating data flows to drive early defect detection
- 5Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements in tooling and process controls
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent AND 4+ years of related hands-on experience OR military technical experience
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2.5+ years in a related equipment maintenance role
- 3High School Diploma or equivalent AND 3+ year Technical/trade certification OR 3+ years technical experience
- 4Associate degree in STEM Related field AND 2+ years of related equipment maintenance experience
- 5Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field
