Overview

Phlebotomy and medical assistant work on a mobile basis supporting insurance physicals in the Gig Harbor area. Independent contractors operate with minimal supervision to complete accurate exams in clients’ homes or offices. Exams include blood draws, vital signs, medical histories, signatures, saliva samples, and 12 lead EKGs when required. Flexible scheduling with 7 days a week availability and 52 weeks per year.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and perform mobile medical exams including blood draws, vital signs, saliva samples, EKGs, and documentation
  • 2Deliver accurate data collection while maintaining confidentiality and compliance in client settings
  • 3Coordinate with scheduling to optimize appointment flow and minimize turnaround time
  • 4Own patient interactions with professionalism in diverse populations including pediatric and geriatric patients
  • 5Document exam results clearly and submit packets for insurance processing
  • 6Utilize tablets and basic medical equipment in mobile environments
  • 7Maintain equipment readiness and report maintenance needs
  • 8Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed in every exam
  • 9Support orientation process to verify skills and paperwork usage
  • 10Manage territory by selecting preferred ZIP codes and meeting exam targets

Requirements10

  • 1Active phlebotomy practice with at least 1+ year of work experience
  • 2Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection
  • 3Familiarity with tablets/computers for data entry and documentation
  • 4Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients or home health
  • 5EKG experience preferred but not required
  • 6Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • 7References checked and background check completed
  • 8High school diploma or equivalent
  • 9Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification
  • 10Ability to set own schedule and work autonomously
