What You'll Do9
- 1Check daily schedule via mobile app and stock vehicle with required supplies and PPE
- 2Drive to patient homes using personal vehicle and navigate with GPS
- 3Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and point-of-care tests
- 4Administer ECGs, diabetic foot screenings, and retinal imaging with portable devices
- 5Record patient vitals and symptoms using a HIPAA-secure mobile app
- 6Label and package samples for lab drop-off or shipment
- 7Explain procedures to patients and address concerns with compassion
- 8Adapt to last-minute schedule changes and route adjustments
- 9Document all services and patient interactions in real time
Requirements8
- 11+ year of venipuncture experience in a clinical setting
- 2Valid state phlebotomy certification or national certification where applicable
- 3Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 4Active driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
- 5Ability to lift 20 pounds and navigate stairs in patient homes
- 6Comfort using smartphones and medical apps for documentation
- 7Proof of immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap
- 8Pass national background check and DMV check
