Mobile Phlebotomist, At-Home Diagnostics
Overview
You will visit patients at their homes or offices to collect blood samples and vitals, drive to and from appointments, and drop specimens at labs or patient service centers. You will join Getlabs, a platform used by healthcare organizations for at-home diagnostics, with backing from Labcorp and Quest. You will work closely with the operations and patient experience teams to ensure accurate collections and outstanding patient care. This role stands out for its early morning shifts (starting at 5am) and the chance to work independently in a dynamic, high-growth startup environment.
What You'll Do6
- 1Visit patients in their homes or offices, drive to and from appointments, and drop samples off at patient service centers or laboratories.
- 2Follow safe and accurate blood collection procedures and process specimens with high accuracy.
- 3Adapt to a rapid high-growth environment and maintain flexible scheduling.
- 4Communicate closely with the operations and patient experience team during business hours.
- 5Ensure each patient interaction is thoughtful and provides an amazing experience.
- 6Maintain high standards of excellence with minimal supervision.
Requirements11
- 11 year of phlebotomy experience, mobile phlebotomy preferred.
- 2Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency, such as AMT, ASCP, or NCCT.
- 3Experience processing samples.
- 4Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 6Ability to drive in the dark, as first appointments may be as early as 5am.
- 7Ability to physically access patients, including kneeling, bending, stooping, sitting, and reaching.
- 8Ability to navigate patients' homes, including climbing stairs and carrying 15 pounds while walking.
- 9Ability to work independently or in a team environment under minimal supervision.
- 10Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- 11Proof of first shot of Covid-19 Vaccine within 30 days of employment.
