What You'll Do8
- 1Operate mobile cranes for daily lifts, directing setup and positioning to ensure safe and precise load handling.
- 2Execute daily and weekly maintenance checks on assigned equipment, documenting findings and addressing issues immediately.
- 3Coordinate on-site work with clients, confirming lift plans and obtaining signed work authorization before starting each job.
- 4Complete and submit daily inspection logs required by FDOT and OSHA, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations.
- 5Fuel and secure the crane at the yard after each shift, maintaining readiness for the next day's assignments.
- 6Uphold a customer-focused attitude, responding to client needs and maintaining a professional demeanor on site.
- 7Report any accidents, near misses, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly, contributing to a zero-incident culture.
- 8Wear required PPE and follow all site-specific safety rules, including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
Requirements7
- 1NCCCO certificate with a minimum of 2 years of crane operation experience.
- 2Clean CDL license for operating and transporting cranes.
- 3Preferred: NCCCO Rigger Level 1 or equivalent certification.
- 4Preferred: NCCCO Signal Person certification or equivalent.
- 5Preferred: OSHA 30-hour construction training.
- 6Physically fit for duty, including standing, walking, and bending.
- 7Reliable and punctual, dressed ready for work daily.
Salary Insight
