Mitigation Field Sales Representative, Restoration
Overview
You will be the first point of contact for home and business owners facing property damage, turning urgent calls into restoration agreements on the first visit. As part of Restoration 1 of Austin, you will join a specialized team of sales and restoration experts, working alongside operations to ensure smooth handoffs. You will respond to warm, pre-screened leads from plumbers, HVAC companies, and partner referrals, avoiding cold calls. Your empathy and clarity will guide clients through water, fire, mold, and biohazard remediation and reconstruction, establishing trust in a single interaction.
What You'll Do9
- 1Respond to hot, pre-screened leads from referrals, partners, and inbound inquiries, arriving on-site to assess damage and present tailored restoration solutions.
- 2Assess the property using moisture meters and mobile tools to document conditions and determine the scope of work for water, fire, mold, or biohazard remediation.
- 3Educate clients on services and guide them through insurance processes and financing options, answering questions with empathy and building trust under pressure.
- 4Collaborate with operations teams to schedule immediate mitigation and ensure a seamless handoff, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
- 5Track all client interactions, proposals, and follow-ups using the CRM, setting reminders and ensuring no lead goes stale.
- 6Secure signed agreements before leaving the job site, closing deals on the spot to initiate the restoration process immediately.
- 7Coordinate with plumbers, HVAC technicians, and adjusters to gather documentation and expedite claims, reinforcing the referral network.
- 8Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by converting high-quality referrals into active restoration projects across the Greater Austin area.
- 9Set client expectations for the restoration timeline, explaining each step and what they can expect, reducing anxiety and boosting satisfaction.
Requirements7
- 12+ years of proven sales experience, with a preference for restoration, construction, insurance, plumbing, or HVAC industries.
- 2Strong communication and negotiation skills, demonstrated by the ability to build trust quickly in high-stress, time-sensitive situations.
- 3Comfortable working in diverse environments such as homes, crawlspaces, attics, and outdoor job sites, including during severe weather events.
- 4Tech-savvy with the ability to use mobile devices, moisture meters, and electronic documentation tools for field reporting.
- 5Highly organized and self-driven, with a track record of following up and closing deals consistently.
- 6Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background, driving, and drug screenings.
- 7Flexibility to work overtime, some weekends, holidays, and weather-related surge events as needed.
