Overview
Lead end to end ownership of gateway infrastructure scaling agent ecosystems for AI-native startup. Drive architecture decisions and ship features rapidly while ensuring robust security and trust boundaries. Shape product vision and technical direction in a flat organization with direct founder access.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design and implement scalable gateway infrastructure supporting millions of agents across cloud native environments
- 2Own development of agent connectors and monitoring systems for enterprise deployments
- 3Implement fine-grained permission scoping solutions reducing unnecessary access rights
- 4Ship core components like Claude and Codex integrations using TypeScript and Python
- 5Establish observability and audit logging for security teams tracking data access patterns
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural standards and best practices
- 7Mentor junior engineers and lead architectural reviews for complex distributed systems
- 8Analyze and resolve production incidents impacting agent connectivity and security
- 9Contribute to open source projects related to agent infrastructure and permission management
Requirements8
- 15+ years building distributed systems with focus on security and identity
- 2Proficiency in AWS Certified services and Kubernetes orchestration
- 3Experience with Python and CockroachDB for high-throughput applications
- 4Background in permission systems or zero trust architectures
- 5Strong ability to learn new technologies rapidly without extensive documentation
- 6Demonstrated ownership of features from design through production deployment
- 7Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration in fast moving environment
- 8Understanding of AI agent workflows and current industry trends in agent-based automation
