What You'll Do6
- 1Build internal agent toolkits using vendor APIs and design clean integration layers
- 2Maintain and enhance existing catalog fixing breakages and improving response shapes
- 3Write tests and evaluations proving tool functionality against real API behavior
- 4Treat LLMs and agents as first-class components tuning tool descriptions and usage
- 5Contribute to shared patterns and tooling accelerating future toolkit development
- 6Engage with MCP ecosystem shaping standards for agent tool specifications
Requirements9
- 14+ years shipping production software with strong Python and TypeScript skills
- 2Extensive experience building and consuming REST auth flows pagination rate limits
- 3Proven testing mindset writing tests that catch real failures
- 4Comfort with ambiguity in early-stage environments with evolving requirements
- 5Insatiable drive to ship impactful solutions with minimal guidance
- 6Bonus: LLM application experience prompting retrieval tool use or agent design
- 7Familiarity with MCP or similar agent-tool protocols preferred
- 8Open-source contributions and experience at API platform startups valued
