Mill Operator - Charlotte Ink Production
Overview
INX International seeks dedicated Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink at our Charlotte facility. The role involves operating specialized equipment and supporting production processes while contributing to sustainable manufacturing practices. What You'll Do11
- 1Run batches of ink at optimal mill settings
- 2Package finished product in various containers and apply labels
- 3Clean and maintain machines according to TPM standards
- 4Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily operations
- 5Operate press out unit pump filter equipment and forklift
- 6Act as QC liaison by providing ink samples and adjusting formulations
- 7Complete scheduled maintenance using troubleshooting procedures
- 8Assist with repacking tasks
- 9Maintain high overall equipment effectiveness standards
- 10Document and record process data
- 11Collaborate with cross-functional teams on workflow improvements
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 23 months related work experience
- 3Strong math skills and basic computer proficiency
- 4Attention to detail and reliability for assigned shifts
- 5Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- 6Active participation in autonomous maintenance activities
- 7Proven teamwork and communication abilities
- 8Flexibility for overtime scheduling
