Overview
The Ink Technician leads safe ink preparation and support to ensure smooth production. This role drives customer performance by delivering press-ready inks while following Flint Group policies and safety standards. It focuses on integrated solutions for packaging applications across five business segments.
What You'll Do9
- 1Follow safety policies and complete required training while using PPE
- 2Maintain clean workspaces using Lean and 5S principles
- 3Prepare, weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks according to schedules
- 4Perform color checks with X-Rite equipment and adjust press settings
- 5Track production quality and downtime records accurately
- 6Assist with job scheduling and ink estimations for upcoming runs
- 7Manage ink inventory to minimize waste and ensure proper stock
- 8Support press operations with ink adjustments and troubleshooting
- 9Adhere to safety standards and contribute to a fast-paced environment
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Previous experience in printing or ink manufacturing preferred
