Digital Print Operator 2 - Inkjet & Laser Printing
Overview
You will operate inkjet, laser, xerographic and offset printers to produce high-volume print jobs for a global leader serving 93% of the Fortune 100. You will prepare jobs by RIPing files, review job instructions, and manage the print queue from setup to release. What You'll Do7
- 1Operate inkjet, laser, xerographic and offset duplicating printers to meet daily production targets.
- 2RIP files and review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing, ensuring correct setup.
- 3Maintain daily print job production logs and delivery manifests for accurate tracking.
- 4Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue, adjusting image position, perforations, and folds as needed.
- 5Monitor print output for quality and correctness, making routine adjustments to equipment.
- 6Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets, rollers, paper, and tabs to maintain inventory.
- 7Collaborate with team members to prioritize jobs and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
- 2High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 3Knowledge of standard setups, adjustments, and operating characteristics of print equipment.
- 4Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to equipment per job requirements.
- 5Skill in performing routine adjustments that are readily apparent.
- 6Basic computer skills for RIPing files and managing print queues.
- 7Strong attention to detail for quality monitoring.
