Overview
We seek a motivated detail-oriented Assistant Press Operator to support press operations and maintain sheet-fed or web offset printing press. This is a direct hire role offering rotating shifts in a leading print company.
What You'll Do5
- 1Set up operate and monitor printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials
- 2Adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance to optimize print quality and efficiency
- 3Manage color accuracy through effective color management techniques
- 4Perform cutting paper binding and finishing tasks to prepare printed products
- 5Insert packing sheets install plates on press cylinders use hand power tools for specific measurements
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 1 year proven experience operating industrial printing equipment
- 2Strong mechanical knowledge with quick troubleshooting abilities
- 3Knowledge of color management principles for accurate reproduction
- 4Familiarity with cutting paper binding layout design and finishing techniques
- 5Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and technical specifications
