Mid Level Forward Deployed Software Engineer
Overview
Lead development of analytical dashboard features for Army Vantage capabilities. Own end-to-end delivery within two-week sprints while collaborating with senior engineers and government stakeholders. Ensure production-ready code and data alignment across systems.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and deliver front-end analytical dashboard views using Foundry's Workshop/Slate application layer under senior engineer guidance
- 2Support CI/CD pipeline configuration including build scripts automated tests and environment promotion workflows
- 3Implement metric definitions and data transformations aligned to the Foundry Ontology for consistent dashboard interpretation
- 4Produce technical documentation including configuration notes runbooks and sprint artifacts
- 5Participate in sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and demonstrations for government stakeholders
- 6Conduct testing and validation to confirm dashboard functionality and data alignment
- 7Identify integration issues surface blockers early and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve them
- 8Support defect resolution and incremental enhancements to maintain stable operations
- 9Work independently in small fast-moving technical teams to build test and deliver production-ready features
- 10Maintain compliance with security standards in government classified environments
Requirements5
- 1Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry including pipelines Workshop/Slate and Ontology
- 23+ years of software engineering experience with Python TypeScript or Java in cloud-based data platforms
- 3Experience working in government defense or classified environments
- 4Ability to independently build test and deliver production-ready functionality
- 5Comfort with small fast-moving technical teams
