Mid Level AI Data Engineer Credence
Overview
Credence seeks a Mid Level AI Data Engineer to lead technical anchor initiatives within our AI and Automation practice. The role focuses on scaling cloud native AI capabilities that advance federal missions while fostering growth and purpose.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and optimize data pipelines for generative AI and LLM usage
- 2Manage data lakes and warehouses across cloud platforms using AWS Azure and GCP
- 3Implement medallion architecture Bronze Silver Gold layers for data quality and lineage
- 4Work with SQL and NoSQL systems to model and query large scale datasets
- 5Monitor and tune high performance data stores supporting analytics and reporting
- 6Collaborate with data engineers software engineers and data scientists to develop agentic AI systems
- 7Automate model deployment workflows using IaC CI CD pipelines and container orchestration tools
- 8Perform production monitoring and optimization of AI systems
- 9Write clean documented code following industry and federal guidelines
- 10Stay current on AI ML trends and support reproducible development
- 11Obtain U.S. Citizenship with DoD Secret clearance eligibility
Requirements10
- 15+ years delivering Data AI ML solutions
- 2Strong understanding of ETL ELT and vector databases embeddings
- 3Experience with generative AI LLMs tool calls MCP and agents A2A
- 4Familiarity with leading AI APIs OpenAI Anthropic Gemini Bedrock Vertex
- 5Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines GitLab GitHub Jenkins
- 6Proficiency in Python libraries Pyspark Pandas uv Pydantic FastAPI CrewAI LangChain LangGraph Unstructured
- 7Experience with IaC tools Terraform Open Tofu AWS CDK CloudFormation
- 8Exposure to agentic frameworks Agent2Agent Protocol Bedrock Agents Mastra CrewAI Strands AgentCore
