Overview
You own the technical delivery of data engineering, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions for large-scale data modernization projects in the public sector. Building on 10+ years of experience, you design and operationalize data pipelines, integrate AI capabilities, and guide cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. You work with AWS and Snowflake to drive scalable architectures, partnering with architects and operations leads to ensure production-grade outcomes. What You'll Do10
- 1Architect and build ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS and Snowflake to support analytics and AI workloads.
- 2Lead the implementation of AI solutions using Cortex Code and Cortex Suite, embedding machine learning into data products.
- 3Guide development teams in Agile delivery, setting technical direction and reviewing code for quality and performance.
- 4Operationalize data solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in cloud environments.
- 5Collaborate with architects to design data models and integration patterns that align with modernization goals.
- 6Drive adoption of MLOps practices and frameworks to streamline model deployment and monitoring.
- 7Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost, leveraging Snowflake and AWS services.
- 8Mentor developers on best practices for data engineering and cloud-native development.
- 9Support financial services or regulatory clients by delivering compliant and auditable data solutions.
- 10Champion data governance and quality standards within the team and across the project.
Requirements8
- 110+ years in data engineering, analytics development, or software development roles.
- 2Hands-on experience building data solutions in cloud environments such as AWS and Snowflake.
- 3Experience implementing AI solutions with Cortex Code and Cortex Suite.
- 4Proven track record with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics solution development.
- 5Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- 6US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DHS Public Trust clearance.
- 7Bachelor's degree required
- 8Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the DC area.
