What You'll Do9

  • 1Build and install software and patches on workstations and printers to ensure secure, up-to-date configurations.
  • 2Design and implement troubleshooting processes for software configuration issues affecting users.
  • 3Own inventory management and turn-in workflows for IT hardware and peripherals to maintain accurate asset records.
  • 4Ship and maintain VTC and peripheral devices, ensuring reliable operation for critical meetings.
  • 5Lead printer maintenance, supplies, and repair processes to minimize downtime.
  • 6Drive basic security practices in a DoD environment, ensuring compliant configurations and change control.
  • 7Collaborate with network and security teams to resolve incidents impacting user workstations and devices.
  • 8Debug and resolve software compatibility and configuration issues across a mixed fleet of devices.
  • 9Scale routine desktop support tasks through documented procedures and checklists.

Requirements6

  • 1Three years of progressively responsible experience in desktop support and administration
  • 2Three years of experience with installing software, patching software, and troubleshooting software configuration
  • 3Two years of experience with printer support and maintenance
  • 4Three years of experience with equipment inventory management and turn in process
  • 5TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance
  • 6DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II /Intermediate certification
