Overview
You will own merchandising and freight processing at a high-volume Dollar Tree store, partnering with the Store Manager to keep shelves full and the sales floor profitable. You will lead daily store operations, manage DSD receiving, and execute Sales Planners and Clip Strips to drive revenue. What You'll Do10
- 1Execute monthly Sales Planners to maximize product placement and sales
- 2Process incoming DSD merchandise and verify accuracy against invoices
- 3Manage freight flow by unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining backroom organization
- 4Merchandise Clip Strips and Power Panels with high-velocity items
- 5Complete corporate directives like Pull and Hold and Task Compliance within deadlines
- 6Perform opening and closing procedures, securing cash and company assets
- 7Keep the store clean and safe, including restrooms, floors, and stockroom
- 8Direct associates on merchandising tasks and enforce productivity standards
- 9Monitor inventory levels and order frozen and refrigerated stock to prevent outs
- 10Train and coach associates on planogram compliance and shelf standards
Requirements6
- 13+ years in retail management with a focus on merchandising
- 2Proven ability to lift 30-50 lbs. and stand for extended shifts
- 3Strong verbal and written communication for coordinating with team and vendors
- 4Experience with DSD receiving and POS systems
- 5Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- 6High school diploma or GED; associate's degree preferred
