As the Merchandising Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree, you'll own store merchandising and freight processing for a high-volume retail location. What You'll Do8
- 1Lead daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to maintain a secure and efficient environment.
- 2Process incoming freight, manage DSD merchandise receipts, and ensure accurate inventory flow.
- 3Order and stock merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items, to meet productivity standards.
- 4Plan and execute monthly Sales Planners and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with sales-effective items.
- 5Execute corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey requests.
- 6Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, and stockroom, to company standards.
- 7Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
- 8Protect company assets, including store cash, by adhering to all policies and procedures.
Requirements4
- 1Prior retail and management experience preferred.
- 2Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
- 3Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- 4Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment required.
