What You'll Do7
- 1Build and perform routine and complex laboratory tests with attention to accuracy and turnaround times
- 2Maintain and calibrate equipment, run quality control tests, and document results
- 3Process specimens for in-house and reference testing and ensure proper sample handling
- 4Coordinate specimen transport and prepare specimens for send-out testing
- 5Answer calls, review pending logs, and provide timely updates to healthcare teams
- 6Support on-call coverage, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- 7Contribute to safety and compliance initiatives within the clinical laboratory environment
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Lab Science or Biological Sciences or related field
- 2Associates Degree in Medical Lab Technology with HEW certification
- 3Certification in ASCP or AMT or eligible to take exam
- 4Must complete certification within 18 months of hire
- 5Available for on-call shifts and variable schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
