Own patient scheduling and communications in a high volume medical office. You will handle 60-100 inbound calls daily, schedule and reschedule appointments, verify registrations and insurance, and support billing inquiries. This is a fully onsite contract-to-hire role in Columbia MD with regular daytime hours. You’ll join a professional healthcare team and contribute to a patient-centered practice with strong confidentiality practices. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and manage high-volume patient scheduling to maintain clinic flow
  • 2Schedule and reschedule patient appointments to optimize provider availability
  • 3Process referrals and prescription refill requests to ensure timely care
  • 4Verify patient registration and insurance information for accuracy
  • 5Assist with billing-related inquiries and account collection processes
  • 6Answer incoming calls and route to the appropriate provider or department
  • 7Support patient check-in and check-out activities as needed
  • 8Maintain accurate patient information within the EMR system
  • 9Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • 10Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors

  • 1Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
