Overview

Owns frontline reception duties during an intensive two-week flu clinic period in Boston and supports subsequent data entry through November. The role involves setting up clinic stations, verifying staff insurance, and handling registration, with transportation provided for offsite locations. You’ll work onsite, collaborate with nursing staff, and ensure accurate EMR entries in Cority. This temporary position offers hands-on patient and staff interactions in a fast seasonal workflow.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build flu clinic stations for nurses and ensure smooth clinic flow
  • 2Check in staff for vaccines and enter each vaccine administered in Cority EMR
  • 3Greet and direct staff to nurse stations and verify VIS forms
  • 4Maintain inventory of flu clinic supplies and notify program manager when stock is low
  • 5Support end-of-day cleanup and proper storage of supplies
  • 6Perform general office duties such as copying VIS and Flu Log forms
  • 7Assist with data entry tasks after clinics conclude through end of November
  • 8Support onsite and offsite clinic logistics including transportation
  • 9Provide frontline customer service to staff and external contacts
  • 10Coordinate with OHS program manager to maintain compliance and confidentiality

Requirements9

  • 1Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 2Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
  • 3Strong customer service skills and professional interaction with peers leadership and external contacts
  • 4Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail
  • 5Excellent ability to organize prioritize and follow-through
  • 6Intermediate level experience in office administration and data entry
  • 7Experience with patient registration insurance verification and scheduling is preferred
  • 8Contract position based in Boston MA
  • 9Ability to work early hours during flu clinics and standard hours for offsite clinics
