Overview
Under direct supervision of leadership, performs a variety of tasks to support clinical workflow. OWN daily office tasks such as faxing filing sorting printing paperwork mailing letters. Lead schedule appointments call patients for appointment reminder and test outreach. Act as runner/courier escort patient to destinations round lobby. Maintain examination/treatment rooms including room turnover inventory stocking supplies and equipment. Participate in departmental quality assessment and improvement programs. Comply with all HFHS and departmental safety standards. Enter monthly hand hygiene audit. Support mission vision and values uphold goals policies procedures expectations. What You'll Do11
- 1Complete necessary office tasks such as faxing filing sorting printing paperwork mailing letters.
- 2Receive phone calls from patients and enter them into Epic in-basket as appropriate.
- 3Schedule appointments call patients for appointment reminder and test outreach.
- 4Act as runner/courier escort patient to destinations within clinic.
- 5Round lobby.
- 6Maintain examination/treatment rooms including room turnover inventory stocking supplies and equipment.
- 7Participate in departmental quality assessment and quality improvement programs.
- 8Comply with all HFHS and departmental specific safety standards.
- 9Enter monthly hand-hygiene audit.
- 10Uphold goals policies procedures and expectations of Henry Ford.

Requirements6
- 1High school diploma and/or G.E.D. equivalent.
- 2Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- 3Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred.
- 4Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy.
- 5Practice the customer skills as provided through ongoing training and in-services.
- 6Physical demands include manual dexterity walking standing stooping and some heavy lifting of patients and/or equipment.
