Overview
F&M Health & Wellness seeks a Texas-licensed Medical Doctor to provide flexible per-patient clinical income in a part-time contract role. This position offers autonomy without traditional full-time commitment and includes opportunities for additional clinic days as patient volume increases.
What You'll Do11
- 1Evaluate and manage patients within professional scope using clinical judgment
- 2Conduct initial medical consultations and follow-up evaluations
- 3Perform pain and musculoskeletal assessments along with non-opioid pain management
- 4Manage medication when medically appropriate and conduct trigger-point injections
- 5Review imaging and laboratory results to develop individualized treatment plans
- 6Develop referrals for imaging specialists physical therapy and other appropriate services
- 7Perform annual and routine physicals school and sports physicals weight-management evaluations
- 8Order and review appropriate laboratory testing with accurate documentation
- 9Complete patient charts promptly and maintain HIPAA compliance
- 10Collaborate with specialists to coordinate comprehensive care
- 11Provide wellness consultations and pre-employment physicals
Requirements8
- 1MD or DO degree with active Texas medical license
- 2Strong patient-care and communication skills
- 3Experience with pain management personal injury primary care occupational health or wellness services
- 4USCIS Civil Surgeon designation preferred
- 5Professional liability/malpractice coverage
- 6Ability to work in outpatient health wellness and pain-management settings
- 7Availability for hybrid remote work in Houston TX 77063
- 8Relevant clinical experience and willingness to assume flexible outpatient hours
