Overview

You assemble high-quality medical devices in a manufacturing cell at Techlink Systems in Portland, OR. You perform assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs). Close supervision and standardized procedures guide your work, while you maintain accurate records and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives. You communicate with manufacturing management and follow strict gowning and safety protocols. This contract role offers a 6+ month engagement with a 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift, and requires a high school degree or equivalent.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Assemble pacemakers, ICDs, and related devices per standardized procedures.
  • 2Repair and test medical device assemblies under close supervision.
  • 3Maintain accurate traveler and quality documents, ensuring part traceability.
  • 4Follow Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance production processes.
  • 5Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to meet metrics.
  • 6Prioritize work by determining sequencing and timing based on precedence.
  • 7Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to manufacturing management.
  • 8Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate safety devices.
  • 9Support QMS and EMS regulatory requirements.
  • 10Handle and maneuver small components with precision.

Requirements8

  • 1High school degree or equivalent required.
  • 21+ year in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred.
  • 3Ability to read and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • 4Understanding of electronic data collection systems and computer software.
  • 5Ability to make critical decisions with minimal supervision.
  • 6Demonstrates basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
  • 7Ability to wear required gowning and follow strict dress code: non-shedding clothing, no makeup, no jewelry, no nail polish, and covered torso, arms, and legs.
  • 86+ month contract availability with 4:00 AM start time.
