We seek a detail-oriented Medical Biller / Collections Representative to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations for our San Francisco-based Home Health agency. The ideal candidate will excel in home health billing insurance claims and collections while delivering exceptional patient experiences. What You'll Do10
- 1Prepare and submit insurance claims for home health services
- 2Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits
- 3Follow up on unpaid claims denials and outstanding accounts receivable
- 4Perform payment posting and EOB reconciliation
- 5Manage denial management claim corrections and appeals
- 6Complete eligibility and benefits verification
- 7Assist with prior authorizations as required
- 8Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
- 9Communicate with insurance companies patients and internal teams
- 10Support additional finance and administrative tasks
Requirements7
- 15+ years experience in home health billing collections
- 2Medicare Medicaid/Medi-Cal PPO HMO commercial payer knowledge
- 3Denial management and appeals expertise
- 4Accounts receivable follow-up proficiency
- 5EMR/EHR proficiency with platforms like Kinnser Waystar or Office Ally
- 6Strong attention to detail organizational skills and communication abilities
- 7Experience with Kafka
