What You'll Do5
- 1Assist with patient care under the direction of physicians
- 2Prepare patients for office visits and procedures
- 3Perform a variety of patient care activities such as vaccine medication administration phlebotomy and point of care testing
- 4Provide indirect patient care via phone or EHR addressing patient questions processing medication refills and scheduling follow-up appointments
- 5Utilize electronic health record for efficient care
Requirements5
- 1One year experience as a clinic back office medical assistant preferred
- 2Education: Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent experience
- 3MA certification required within one year from AAMA AMT NCCT or NHA
- 4Current Oregon EMT license and national EMT registration (NREMT)
- 5Washington State certification as a MA or Interim MA required
Salary Insight
$48 - $69k per year
