What You'll Do11
- 1Deliver direct patient care following hospital protocols
- 2Assist with collecting patient health data and vital signs
- 3Perform phlebotomy and document test results
- 4Prepare exam rooms and stock medical supplies
- 5Provide pre and post-examination patient education
- 6Maintain accurate medical records and coding
- 7Operate vehicles and heavy equipment as needed
- 8Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- 9Coordinate with laboratory services for specimen processing
- 10Support quality control and reporting systems
- 11Serve as mentor to other department staff
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2Medical Assistant Certification
- 3License and background check
- 4Experience with EHR systems
- 5Knowledge of medical terminology
- 6Ability to operate lifting devices
- 7Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- 8Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
