What You'll Do11
- 1Coordinate patient care under provider supervision
- 2Prepare and room patients according to standardized workflows
- 3Obtain vital signs and document patient history medication screening
- 4Administer depression screening tools and complete wellness visits
- 5Review and update medication lists in the EHR
- 6Perform back office testing following AHN protocols
- 7Assist providers with examinations and procedures
- 8Serve as a scribe with additional training
- 9Provide patient follow-up via preferred communication methods
- 10Notify patients of test results promptly
- 11Maintain inventory of medical supplies and stock treatment areas
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or medical assistant program completion
- 2Certification from NHA AAMA AMT NCCT AMCA within five years
- 3One year medical assistant experience within last three years
- 4CPR certification from American Heart Association
- 5Background clearance including act 34 criminal history
