As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care. Working closely with our providers, you’ll help ensure every patient has a positive, efficient, and compassionate healthcare experience. This full-time role includes 12-hour weekday shifts and a rotating weekend schedule. It primarily supports one provider, requiring a flexible and adaptable team player. There is an opportunity to contribute in a busy, fast-paced clinical environment. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive under pressure and maintain a patient-centered focus. A comprehensive benefits package is available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Escort patients to and from exam treatment rooms
- 2Triage patients as necessary
- 3Administer vaccines and injections
- 4Record patient data prior to the physician’s visit
- 5Assist physicians with exams and a wide variety of procedures
- 6Administer medications
- 7Prepare and stock exam treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
- 8Maintain proper disinfection protocols
- 9Complete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
- 10Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the provider
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 21 year of Medical Assistant experience
- 3CMA certification
- 4CCMA certification
- 5RMA certification
- 6EMT certification
- 7Fast-paced clinical environment
- 8Strong verbal and written communication
- 9Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
