What You'll Do11
- 1Take patient vital signs and input medication lists into the EMR
- 2Perform EKG rhythm strip and signal average hookups
- 3Conduct Holter monitor hookups and removals
- 4Assist with stress tests and interpret results
- 5Process pharmacy calls and prescription refills
- 6Maintain CPR certification and provide basic life support
- 7Coordinate insurance precertification and prior authorizations
- 8Schedule procedures and manage patient transfers
- 9Handle portal messages and patient communications
- 10Administer EKG devices and interpret findings
- 11Perform administrative tasks as required
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or Texas GED
- 21 year Medical Assistant experience or recent graduate
- 3Current BCLS certification
- 4Proficiency with EKG equipment
- 5Experience in cardiology settings preferred
- 6Fluency in English
- 7Strong verbal and written communication skills
