Overview
You own patient care operations at Lexington Primary Care, handling 2+ years of clinical and administrative duties. You support a team of physicians and nurses by managing vital signs, EKGs, and POC testing. This role centers on Epic scheduling and lab coordination. You work 40 hours weekly on a 20-week contract with a W2 payroll option.
What You'll Do6
- 1Take blood pressure, vital signs, height, and weight for each patient encounter
- 2Perform EKGs and phlebotomy procedures with accuracy
- 3Run point-of-care (POC) tests and document results in Epic
- 4Schedule diagnostic and lab tests in Epic per physician orders
- 5Maintain exam rooms and medical supplies to ensure readiness
- 6Support patient care operations by assisting with administrative workflows
Requirements9
- 12+ years of Medical Assistant experience
- 2BLS (AHA) certification required
- 3Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- 4Experience taking blood pressure and performing general MA duties
- 5Epic experience required
- 6POC testing experience required
- 7Experience scheduling diagnostic and lab tests required
- 8High school diploma or GED required
- 9Must live within 20 miles of the facility
