Medical Assistant Certified CMA Flagler Health
Overview
We seek a nationally certified Medical Assistant to fulfill a dual-function role at our WI facility. This position involves leading the Medicare 855B site inspection process while supporting our Remote Therapeutic Monitoring program. The role demands punctuality and consistency during mandatory 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM shifts. On-site presence is required for compliance and inspection readiness.
What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as the sole dedicated physical presence at the facility during all posted operating hours
- 2Act as the immediate point of contact for unannounced MAC field inspectors
- 3Escort inspectors through the facility and respond to operational questions factually
- 4Confirm facility operations including utilities and equipment before 10:00 AM
- 5Verify external business signage compliance and maintain HIPAA standards
- 6Maintain the Readiness Binder with active licenses and application documents
- 7Facilitate patient enrollment into Flagler's RTM portal
- 8Make daily outbound calls and send patient texts to document health status
- 9Collect and document patient health information including medical histories
- 10Send evidence-based health support resources to patients
- 11Participate in ongoing company training sessions and team check-ins
Requirements11
- 1Nationally certified Medical Assistant holding the CMA (AAMA) credential
- 2Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical office or remote care setting
- 3Background in healthcare administration clinic operations or front-desk management
- 4Proficiency with Zoom Slack and online patient enrollment platforms
- 5Personal laptop with working microphone camera and reliable internet connection
- 6Quiet dedicated workspace for remote work
- 7Calm articulate professional conduct when interacting with federal auditors
- 8Excellent verbal written communication skills emphasizing empathy
- 9Strong organizational skills managing multiple responsibilities
- 10Ability to work independently take initiative without supervision
- 11Demonstrated commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy
