What You'll Do11
- 1Welcome patients and assist with intake processes
- 2Obtain and document patient vital signs
- 3Prepare examination and treatment rooms
- 4Stock clinical supplies and maintain inventory
- 5Perform CLIA-waived laboratory testing and document results
- 6Coordinate referrals to specialty care and community resources
- 7Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments
- 8Provide patient reminders and follow-up communications
- 9Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
- 10Follow all quality and safety practices
- 11Lead efforts to improve patient experience and care efficiency
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2One year of healthcare human services or customer service experience
- 3Current BLS CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- 4Ability to complete Free Health Care Center Clinical Support Competency Program
- 5Proficiency with computers
- 6Medical Assistant certification preferred
- 7Exceptional customer service skills
- 8Experience working with diverse underserved populations
- 9Strong communication abilities
