What You'll Do10
- 1Greet patients and prepare them for examinations while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- 2Perform vital signs measurements and collect patient histories accurately
- 3Administer vaccinations and diagnostic tests as directed by providers
- 4Input data into Epic EHR and assist with medical provider exams
- 5Prepare examination rooms and restock supplies between patients
- 6Conduct tuberculosis skin tests and various lab assessments
- 7Document patient encounters and complete standing orders
- 8Manage patient check-in processes and schedule follow-ups
- 9Report incidents and maintain accurate documentation
- 10Handle other assigned duties as needed
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of a formal Medical Assistant program
- 2Current BLS certification and knowledge of basic clinic procedures
- 3California driver’s license with proof of personal auto insurance
- 4Valid immunization records including Hepatitis B MMR Varicella and Tetanus
- 5Tuberculosis clearance and COVID-19 vaccination proof for external hires
- 6Outstanding customer service skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- 7Physical stamina to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds
- 8Strong communication abilities in English and at least one additional language
