Medical Assistant Bilingual Chinese POD Health

POD Health seeks a Medical Assistant who will own remote patient monitoring and chronic care management while collaborating with nurses and nurse practitioners. What You'll Do11
- 1Monitor patient vital signs remotely through dashboards and address alerts promptly
- 2Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with RPM programs and healthcare regulations
- 3Act as liaison between patients and care teams to ensure continuity of care across services
- 4Coordinate follow-up care and remind patients to take required measurements
- 5Escalate patient calls to nurses or nurse practitioners for further assessment
- 6Maintain and update patient medical history vital statistics and test results in the EMR system
- 7Manage incoming and outgoing calls handling inquiries and monitoring vital signs
- 8Perform data entry tasks in Salesforce including closing opportunities
- 9Conduct outbound calls to patients providing instructions and gathering information
- 10Use EMR systems Advanced MD and CCIQ to input and manage patient data
- 11Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations as required
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED with bilingual fluency in Chinese preferred Cantonese Mandarin or Fuzhouese
- 21+ years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting or medical practice
- 3Strong grasp of patient care procedures and medical terminology
- 4Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients and professionals
- 5Proven organizational skills to manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- 6Exceptional customer service delivering empathetic supportive interactions
