What You'll Do10
- 1Review customer specifications drawings and technical requirements to support bearing selection and application
- 2Provide calculations technical information and engineering input during quotation and design process
- 3Coordinate with drafting to ensure designs incorporate customer requirements and follow design standards
- 4Design new products or modify existing products using CAD marked-up drawings field service reports and test data
- 5Work closely with Manufacturing Quality Sales R&D and Purchasing to support production and performance
- 6Analyze bearing performance data related to operating parameters stress analysis fit tolerance form and function
- 7Assist with or make decisions regarding non-conforming parts and/or materials based on experience level
- 8Participate in product development product improvement testing special calculations and continuous improvement initiatives
- 9Provide technical support to sales and customers or end users maintaining technical proficiency through industry updates
- 10May include customer or end-user site visits depending on role level and business need
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 2Experience with CAD software such as Inventor AutoCAD SolidWorks or similar platforms
- 3Ability to interpret technical drawings specifications and engineering documentation
- 4Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- 5Effective communication and collaboration abilities
