What You'll Do11
- 1Monitor and enhance equipment reliability via engineering analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- 2Investigate failures and recurring issues to determine root causes and corrective actions
- 3Collaborate with mechanics and engineers to diagnose issues and implement lasting solutions
- 4Interpret machine symptoms and alarms to forecast potential failures
- 5Evaluate wear-prone components and suggest robust designs or optimized replacement schedules
- 6Develop mechanical drawings and documentation for equipment upgrades
- 7Maintain comprehensive documentation including bills of materials and maintenance procedures
- 8Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- 9Work with OEMs and suppliers to resolve technical challenges
- 10Participate in capital improvement projects to boost availability and cut costs
- 11Ensure all changes meet safety quality and manufacturing standards
Requirements7
- 1BS Degree in Mechanical Electrical Controls Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering or 8 years experience post-high school education and work experience
- 2Minimum 5 years technical experience in manufacturing environments
- 3Strong knowledge of machine design hydraulics pneumatics bearings gearing shafts and automation systems
- 4Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies
- 5CAD drawing skills with preference for 2D and 3D models
- 6Experience troubleshooting complex industrial machinery
- 7Understanding of reliability standards and compliance requirements
