Reliability Engineer, Manufacturing Maintenance
Overview
Own maintenance reliability systems and equipment consulting across facilities. Lead the site Mechanical Reliability Team through identification and resolution of recurring issues. Drive predictive maintenance and capital projects to improve safety, cost, capacity, and quality. Collaborate with plant personnel, suppliers, and contractors to deliver business improvements. This role offers direct influence on plant uptime and process reliability.
What You'll Do10
- 1Identify, prioritize, design, and implement facility and equipment upgrades to boost safety, cost, capacity, and quality
- 2Lead the site Mechanical Reliability Team to resolve recurring reliability issues
- 3Track maintenance, quality, and root cause metrics to build predictive maintenance activities
- 4Perform improvement audits at plant locations in leadership and support capacity
- 5Develop strategies, program proposals, and control plans to close work practice gaps
- 6Plan and coordinate plant shutdown maintenance repairs, supervising contract crews
- 7Track critical spare parts and schedule maintenance activities
- 8Analyze and improve site precision maintenance techniques
- 9Plan, schedule, and execute equipment replacement and capital projects
- 10Support the food safety program and quality standards
Requirements7
- 15+ years experience in maintenance and reliability with automated mixing, conveying, packaging, and HVAC equipment
- 2Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
- 3Strong knowledge of engineering theories, methods, and experimental design
- 4Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 5Ability to manage projects, collect and analyze data, and implement creative solutions
- 6Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 7Ability to work independently and within teams
