What You'll Do8
- 1Perform HVAC load calculations and design system layouts for restaurant projects, ensuring performance and code compliance.
- 2Size and design plumbing and gas piping systems using AutoCAD and Revit, integrating them with building plans.
- 3Develop detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) layouts, coordinating with architectural and structural disciplines.
- 4Drive projects from concept to completion, tracking timelines and budgets with clear client updates.
- 5Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and documentation for permit and construction.
- 6Conduct site visits to verify installation matches design intent and support commissioning.
- 7Stay current with HVAC technologies and codes, applying updates to project designs.
- 8Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs to maintain project momentum.
Requirements8
- 13-5 years of engineering experience with HVAC design and AutoCAD or Revit proficiency.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
- 3Proven ability to perform HVAC load calculations and design ductwork and piping systems.
- 4Experience sizing plumbing and gas piping for commercial or restaurant projects.
- 5Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- 6EIT certification preferred.
- 7Excellent communication skills for client and team coordination.
- 8Fieldwork experience including site surveys and construction observation is a plus.
