Design and develop Navigation Communications and Control systems for Land and Air Systems. What You'll Do8
- 1Provide technical input to Project or Engineering Management linking strategy to business goals
- 2Collaborate with cross functional domains including other engineering disciplines program management manufacturing and quality assurance
- 3Utilize solid modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and accompanying drawings
- 4Apply Finite Element Analysis tools such as ANSYS to evaluate component performance
- 5Adhere to MIL-STD-810 standards for environmental testing and reliability
- 6Lead complex projects demonstrating collaborative and creative problem solving
- 7Develop technical documentation and proposals showcasing strong communication skills
- 8Identify opportunities to integrate artificial intelligence for continuous improvement
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2 years relevant experience or Master's degree with 6 months relevant experience
- 2Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance at time of hire
- 3U.S. citizenship required due to classified information access requirements
- 4Solid modeling proficiency using industry standard CAD platforms
- 5Expertise in Finite Element Analysis using ANSYS software
- 6Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and technical standards
- 7Knowledge of manufacturing fabrication methods and applicable government industry standards
- 8Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 compliance requirements
- 9Commitment to ongoing professional development and technical excellence
