What You'll Do10
- 1Build HVAC and mechanical designs for diverse facilities using Revit and AutoCAD
- 2Develop construction documents and 3D models with Revit to support field implementation
- 3Perform load calculations with Trane Trace or Carrier HAP and size equipment
- 4Conduct site visits to verify field conditions and inform design decisions
- 5Coordinate with architects, electrical, and structural engineers to ensure integrated solutions
- 6Apply engineering best practices to meet code, sustainability, and client requirements
- 7Refine designs based on site observations and stakeholder feedback
- 8Maintain organized project documentation and ensure quality of design deliverables
- 9Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and support project milestones
- 10Support hybrid work environment with office, remote, and field activities
Requirements10
- 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or HVAC design for buildings
- 2Strong proficiency with Revit for mechanical design and BIM coordination
- 3Experience performing HVAC load calculations using Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, or similar software
- 4Demonstrated experience designing mechanical systems for building projects
- 5Ability to perform field investigations and evaluate existing building conditions
- 6Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- 7Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with office, remote, and field responsibilities
- 8Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
- 9Experience in healthcare, laboratory, educational, commercial, government, or infrastructure projects
- 10Proficiency with AutoCAD
